Francisco's children were taken from his home while he was working an out-of-town job. Dads Dare to Care supported him through the child welfare process and helped him learn to better manage the behavior of his six children, ages four to 11. Francisco is now a DDTC mentor and has sole custody of his children.
Michael and his wife fostered and then adopted their grandson. His son subsequently had another child and joined DDTC himself so he could regain custody of the second child. Michael is one of the original mentors and helps dads new to the system prioritize and set goals.
Mike's two boys were removed from his home during a contentious divorce that involved allegations of abuse. DDTC helped Mike navigate the requirements necessary to regain custody of his children. He has also been an active mentor to new fathers who struggle with maturity, responsibility and lifestyle issues.
